NVCAF Stage Show
Don’t forget that VACIHCS is cohosting the NVCAF with the American Legion Auxiliary and it’s just around the corner! From October 29th to November 4th, 2018, 130 Veteran artists and their guests will be in Des Moines, Iowa for an unforgettable national festival. Selected as top performers and artists, these Veterans from across the nation will enjoy a week of art and vocal lessons, comradery, special ceremonies, and of course preparation for the culminating events – the Art and Creative Writers Exhibit and Stage Show. Both events are open to the public, are FREE to attend, and are very high quality and inspiring shows. Please consider attending!

Art and Creative Writers Exhibit – Capital Square Atrium
400 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa
Located in the spacious downtown Capital Square Atrium, this exhibit will feature nationally ranked Veterans and their art and writing compositions. This is a drop in event and we invite all guests to stop in during the 3 hour window to meet the Veteran artists and appreciate some beautiful art with us! This event is free and no tickets are required! The space can be access through the Des Moines Downtown Skywalk system as well!

Stage Show
Hoyt Sherman Place Theater
1501 Woodland Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa
Held in the beautiful and notorious Hoyt Sherman Place Theater, this high quality show features nationally ranked Veteran vocalists and performers in touching patriotic tributes, solo, and group acts. This is a MUST see experience! Tickets are needed for this event but are FREE! Time for bulk ordering has ended but you can secure a ticket at the door until the facility is at capacity.
